Spacious two bedroom apartment with a tall fridge and room for preparing and eating meals. Staff were amazing as always. Pool was perfectly cool despite the weather being 40 degrees. I got a welcome beer on arrival! Rooftop bar was excellent as usual, and we appreciated the gift of two drink vouchers. Zen is our city staycation preference.

Staff were very helpful and friendly, lots of information for sightseeing. Very quiet, clean room, bed was comfortable. Parking was easy, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Breakfast was off menu not a buffet like we expected but was cooked fresh and was nice sitting on or outside seating. Rooftop bar beautiful views at night. Definitely would recommend and re- visit.

Location of the property was great & the staff were very helpful. The hotel is pretty dated & the room was very tired & could do with a deep clean. It was also very unfortunate that the pool was closed during our visit too.

Zen Hotel was exceptional the staff were lovely & welcoming. Our room was spacious with all the room amenities you could need with a beautiful balcony. The pool was amazing our little girl loved it as well as the Zen roof top drinks & nibbles which was the highlight each evening with a sensational view & sunset.. we had the pleasure of meeting the hotels owner M we can not say enough about how wonderful he was, we enjoyed our time chatting with him and being blown away by his beautiful hospitality.. our time in Darwin was extraordinary due to M & all his fabulous staff. Location misleading in an isolated industrial area. While staff friendly & helpful. We needed their help to use a traditional key in an out of date door lock being told to hold the handle in a precise manner in order to lock/unlock door. Outdated and not the ‘star’ level quality we were expecting. Only recommended if you are on contract working in industrial area as seemed to be their clientele.

A great choice especially if you have a car

We enjoyed our stay especially because it has a self catering kitchen, a good pool, and self parking. We also had lovely views towards Fisherman’s Wharf. The staff were all lovely and helpful and the roof top bar is a great bonus, with great views across the city. It would be even better with a more comfortable lounge. Thank you.
