Check in was delayed as they weren't able to get rooms cleaned quickly enough. Breakfast was not available as advertised, and staff told us that it's not included in the stay. Rooms were clean, pool was very small, but well maintained. No towels available in the gym or pool area, so we had to use room towels, and then request fresh towels.

Food choices and quality somewhat lacking

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Crossroads Hotel. The historical building (former Pabst warehouse and distribution center) leans heavily on its roots offering unique rooms where the architecture and associated attention to detail captures one’s interest – not your average hotel room! The rooftop bar is a gathering place for locals and visitors alike. The lobby bar offers comfortable seating with pool table and shuffleboard available for guests to enjoy some friendly competition. A large pizza oven offering bar snacks is available. It looked fantastic, but we did not have an opportunity to try any of the offerings. Valet parking is available, but we took advantage of the self-parking option a short walk down the street. The hotel is well positioned to take advantage of Union Station and local attractions. The free trolly line is a short walk providing easy access to downtown, museums and plaza. Last, but not least, the staff was friendly, welcoming and helpful. On your next visit to KC, give the Crossroads Hotel. We think you will enjoy it.
