"Very nice and clean hotel"

"I’m really torn on this one. The front desk staff member at check-in was so friendly! The room itself was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel is in a great, safe location. Unfortunately the bathroom in our room was disappointing. It had a strong urine odor, the bottom of the shower curtain was stained yellow (maybe the source of the smell?), and the sink had major issues draining. So if I could give the bathroom one star and literally everything else 5 stars I would. For our one night stay...

The staff was preparing for the morning guests. When I asked where the coffee bar was, they could have directed me to the location, which would have been fine. "I had to twist the shower faucet two or three turns left or right to even begin to believe a source of water was connected to it. Finally, after fearing that it might never shut off again, I climbed in and managed to get through my shower while using a safe crackers technique to dial in a suitable temperature. Other than that my only other complaint was that there were no face cloths. Everything else was top notch. I did let them know about the faucet issue on my way out in the morning."
