Affordable and comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at Madrona's guest house. It was really affordable for a comfortable space. We took full advantage of the amenities like the washer/dryer and beach towels. We were a short drive from the Charleston attractions we wanted to visit. The place was clean and Rosi was great with communication. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay home was amazing

Fenced yard was perfect for our dog. I brought a pizza with no pan however that even had a pizza pan. Nice touches in home many things new was perfect for us.

Fall Break

This was the 2nd of 4 stops on our Fall Break. The house was super clean and it was such a nice touch to have a bottle of water next to the beds. Staying here felt like coming into your own home - maybe it was because of having blankets to curl up on the couch. It was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go from this location. Check-in was super easy. We would highly recommend.

Beautifully maintained home that's great if traveling with a pet

A lovely renovated home in a quiet neighborhood. We had never stayed in a place that was so well stocked with everything we could possibly need, including dishes, pick up bags and flashlight handy for our dog. The backyard is fenced - great for the dog - with a patio with a table and chairs and cute overhead lights - great for the humans and dog. The neighbors were friendly. We were very comfortable there and glad we had found such a nice spot for our week in Charleston, where we spent several days at the tennis tournament on Daniel Island - short drive away.

Feels Like Home

Rosi is so friendly and concerned that your stay is comfortable and offers help with anything you might need! We needed nothing as the house was perfect! The house is lovely, clean and well appointed! She has thoughtful items everywhere such as little coffee creamers, k-cups, extra towels, bottled water on each nightstand beside the beds! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we highly recommend The Madrona Guesthouse!

Cute place

The house was perfect for our needs. Offered plenty of things to make our stay enjoyable like fresh towels, great shower pressure, Keurig to make our tea. The bathroom sink doesn’t drain properly and the neighbors hosted a loud party while we were there. Overall it’s a cute house at a great price but neighborhood was a bit concerning.

Great for a quick trip!

We really enjoyed our quick trip to Charleston. Knowing full well we'd be a short drive from Downtown was what we had planned, and it was just as listed - clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The neighborhood, though not controlled by the host, obviously, was pretty noisy. Airplanes, trains, and lots of barking dogs and motorcycles up and down the street. Just a note for families traveling with little ones.

Very responsive owner

Had a very nice stay; house has everything I needed, beds were comfortable and everything was super clean. Had a couple initial hiccups upon check in but Rosi was super quick about addressing them. If I needed to be in that area again I would not hesitate to rent here again.

Everything was perfect

Rosi was amazing to work with prior to booking all the way until checkout. She went above and beyond to make special accommodations for our baby girl. She provided new toys, a high chair, and dinnerware for her. The house was very nice and clean, location was perfect for many areas - downtown Mount pleasant, major family attractions, outlets, airport, and more. The only negative thing we had to say was the look of the neighborhood but everything turned out amazing still! Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Exploring Charleston

Rosi’s property was lovely inside and had anything and everything you could need. The outside could use a little attention, but it being springtime we are sure that will happen. Our only issue, and we know it is no fault of the owner, was the neighbors’ barking dogs which woke us up each night we were there. Other than that, our stay was perfect and Charleston is beautiful!

Family Trip to Charleston

Everything about this property was excellent for us and our 2 dogs except the neighborhood. The interior was clean and nicely decorated. It had all the amenities we needed. The property manager was fantastic and desired to make sure our stay was 5 star. The proximity to the attractions in Charleston was perfect. The only issue is the appearance of the neighborhood and the noise level. The area is a bit run down and there are lots of barking dogs and traffic noise at night. Overall our stay was enjoyable and affordable.

Weekend in Charleston with the Boat

We loved the location. Park circle was so fun, we ate at Lola's. The food was great. The house was super cute and nice inside. It was clean and not cluttered (so appreciate that). The drive way was large enough for the boat. We were minutes from the WO Thomas marina( it was a great boat launch). We stopped at Marvins Seafood one day and it was incredible ( fun /good crab cakes and fryed shrimp). Thanks so much. We may have to do this again. Seeing Charleston and Shems creek by water is that best way to see Charleston!

Very nice place!

Lovely large unit! Appliances appear to be quite new. Well stocked kitchen. 2 couches are old in the livingroom, but comfortable. The drive into the area appears to be rather industrial, but the house is in a quiet neighborhood. Easy access to get into Charleston. There's a great Deli and Lions grocery just 1/2 a mile away! The Freehouse brewery is very close, pet friendly and great beers! I'd come to this house again if I'm in the area.

Convenient to MUSC - Very Clean

Rosie was an outstanding host. The house was extremely clean and very comfortable. I have a large dog and was nice to be able to bring with no questions asked. The neighbor is transitional as stated in the description but I had no problems. I enjoyed walks out with my dog. Rosie was very accommodating. She allowed me to arrive on the day I booked and was able to extend my stay. This was a very quickly planned trip with my husband being admitted to MUSC and my living out of town. Very convenient to downtown.

Best rental property experience

I came to Charleston for some medical treatment and needed to stay for a few days. This rental property was cozy, clean, and beautiful. The owner was very communicative ahead of time and check in was super simple. I couldn’t have chosen a better rental for this stay. It was the most well-stocked property I’ve ever stayed at, reducing my anxiety, as I found the couple things I forgot or didn’t think about. There was plenty of room for what I had brought and I truly was so comfortable preparing for and recovering from what I was there for. My dog was also so comfortable and enjoyed the fenced in yard. Even the check out process was incredibly simple- the best I’ve had for any rental I’ve stayed at. The property is very close to the highway and made it easy to get wherever I wanted to go, both for fun and for medical reasons. I would absolutely stay again and wish more properties were like this one. 12/10
