Top North Anson Hotel Reviews

The Skowhegan By Kasa

10/10 Excellent

"It was a beautiful place but it also has renters. I could hear the hair dryer in the next room and the halls echoed. It reminded me of a college dorm. It had a German restaurant as part of the building that was great and had a band. So if thin walls do not bother you then you will love it."

10/10 Excellent

"Having never been here before, I was surprised by how easy they made it to find the property. The driveway down to the house is NOT paved but safe to drive down. It’s not steep or slick. In the winter months however , I would make sure 4 wheel drive is an option. The cabin is, I’m not kidding you, perfect. It has kayaks, two docks to fish from. A sandy area near the dock to go into the water without having to worry about a weedy bottom. The view is amazing on the water when the morning fog clears. It’s quite literally like something from a movie. The host was not overbearing like some can be. The house rules are easy to both find and follow. The firewood was not something I knew about until AFTER my trip was over. Only because the magnet holding the posted rules on the fridge was in the way. Boy was I embarrassed. I was buying firewood the whole weekend haha. 10/10 would recommend and stay here again. I’m going to make it a tradition to come here yearly with my boys."

10/10 Excellent

"My wife and I stayed here while attending the Common Ground Fair. As far as we could tell, Neal alone orchestrated and performed all duties. He was very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice & clean and well kept. Comfortable bed! It’s a motel, so don’t expect frills. Nice grounds in back, with a seasonal pool. Trails into the woods. Quiet. Great stay. Will stay again. Thanks Neal!"

Serene Lakeside Camp - Embden, ME

10/10 Excellent

"For the past 10 years, our extended multigenerational family has stayed at several different areas / houses within the ADK region and we decided to try Maine this yearand This home, by far, is the nicest house we've ever stayed in. Every room has at least a few premium features and the layout is ideal for a large group, yet there is also enough space when everyone's had enough "together" time". Justin is a pleasure to work with, and we truly felt like his guests as opposed to just renters. This home is a treasure!"
