"A unique property with its own fascinating, and sometimes dark, history. The design of the building is strikingly elegant. For the first time, I enjoyed a hotel room with a ten-foot ceiling, casement windows and four-ply toilet paper (good for wiping or a rough draft of your memoirs. The staff was friendly and attentive. "The view was beautiful,The host was very approachable. The area was very peaceful.I will recommend this place to others.To my disappointment, after we left I received a bill for electricity usage during our stay, and a fee for towel usage. This never happened to me before so I was surprised. I loved the house and location, so I thought that the stay was worth the extra payment."
