Jesse, your problem lies with your wife, Mar, and your booking agent and not with me. Your wife, Mar, booked with Expedia for a specific room and I personally showed you verification of that booking in your Expedia account. To ask for a refund late on the day of your arrival and on one of the busiest weekends of the year because Mar booked the wrong room is not viable. I tried to do everything possible to help you and you shut the door on me. Fortunately, when future guests see all our excellent comments and ratings, they will figure out where the fault lies here.Sincerely,Phil

Hi, Carlos! I’m a little confused by your response. We clearly advertise room service of a hot breakfast. This instance it was home baked croissants, an egg souflée with home made chili relish, tomato kebabs, yougurt, juice, etc. delivered to each room with wooden tray tables to be enjoyed by the fireplace in your room. You were aware of this when I asked you the night before if you would prefer a carafe of hot coffee or a set up for tea in the morning. I also asked you and Elia when you were leaving if you had enjoyed yourselves and you replied “Yes!”. If you have the time to read our other guest reviews, you will see that everyone is delighted with our breakfast service and the many options it provides. Thank you for your visit, Philip

Hi, Susana! Thank you for your comments. Guests usually mention how quiet the house is. Unfortunately, what you experienced was a group of six guests celebrating a birthday party and they did congregate in the main entry hall coming and going and all had breakfast together each morning in the room adjacent to yours. Normally guests enter and exit quietly and avoid contact with one another. I was surprised by your comment on the separate room with the toilet and sink. I design my guest rooms this way so that the toilet is private from the bedroom and the area with the big soaking tub and shower stall. I am glad to read that you did enjoy your stay and do apologise for the exuberance of my other guests.
