This is a historical home, very pretty, well kept, great balcony. I love the kitchen and the shower was awesome. Matt was an exceptional host. If I had any questions, he answered right away. I would definitely recommend us 100% to anyone visiting New Orleans..The neighborhood was meticulous very nice upper scale, not far from the garden district and anything and everything you want to do. The street car is less than two minute walk away from the house. The library is not far also. I’ve been going to New Orleans for several years now and this was my best stay yet.

Jazz fest

The location worked great for jazz fest. It was about a 30 minute easy walk . When we left the venue people were still trying to find a site to pick up an uber and we were already home. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was hot with great water pressure.

New Orleans get away

Accommodations very comfortable, location was perfect, walking distance to some great restaurants. Close to Canal Street and cable cars. Appreciated the owner who was very communicative with us. Would stay here again.

Great Spot in Mid City

Our family stayed over Mardi Gras and the property was great. Close to all areas of the city. Bonus was that it is only one block from Canal Street and the Krewe of Endymion, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Matt was a fantastic host, and his place was just right for us. Highly recommend.

The property was very centrally, located to everything. Right around the corner from the trolley. It met all of our needs while we were in New Orleans. The owner was very helpful with our questions and the recommendation for dinner was spot on.

Excellent trip to NOLA

Excellent property, a short walk from the trolley and in a safe residential area. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Off-street parking and a great space. Loved our stay.

Great location for NOLA visit

Great spot for a home base visiting New Orleans for the weekend. You are close to the Street Car and have great options for dining and drinking near the house in Mid-City. The property manager responds quickly and while we did not need anything while we were visiting we knew we could reach out if needed. The beds were comfy and the house is spacious. The area is well lit if you are walking back at night.

Great Appartement with a great host

We stayed for 10 days there. We had a great time. The Appartement is clean, perfectly equipped and near to a streetcar station on canal street. Around you have supermarkets and restaurants. You had enough parking space on the street. The Host Matt is quickly available for any question.

The worst so far

This was a disappointing experience—my worst so far. One that I wasn’t sure how to respond to. I ended up leaving early and booking another place at additional expense to finish my trip in comfort. I learned ro read the worst reviews and believe them.

Comfy and Close to Everything

This was a comfortable property. Dog friendly with a great dog walking loop and within fifteen minutes from almost everywhere. Nice to come home at the end of a hot day touring the city. Local dining options and grocers are nearby. Spacious rooms separated by a shared great room made for nice privacy for both couples. Way more amenities than you can get at a hotel.

Unique Property in Mid-City

We enjoyed our stay in Mid-City New Orleans - convenient to so much that the city has to offer. Great restaurants and two Irish Pubs within walking distance. Areas along Norman C. Francis Parkway and Lafitte Greenway to exercise and walk our two dogs as well. A quiet part of town to use as home base for exploring the city!

Great Location; not a stellar property

Absolutely a great location. We felt quite safe with lots of night time lighting and being within walking distance of Canal St. trolley. You can take it downtown for a pittance and not have to worry about parking, etc. Walking around the area we felt safe, which is not always possible in other areas of the city. Just be aware that the building is quite old and shows its age, and sometimes not well. The floor is a bit unlevel. The kitchen is tiny. The bathroom is okay but nothing to write home about. Overall, the place is quite dark. Turning on fans and lights with a combination of switches and pull chains was unexpected. Yes, there is a balcony and yes, you must climb through a large window to get to it - a bit unexpected I would say but it did add some charm. You're going for a unique experience with this one. Kinda quirky but neat in its own way.
