"The place was ok. I guess you get what you pay for. The front desk person was either untrained or not willing to help. He was rude and unhelpful when I tried to make a reservation over the phone, I had to do it online and when I came in, the check-in was very slow; but the worst part is when I asked about the EV charger in the property, he pointed outside and flat out said "it's out there, I'm new here, I can't help you and don't know anything about it""

"The Lodge was exactly as shown online. We were greeted by the owner upon our arrival and he showed us around the cabin and property. The Lodge was very clean, northern woods feel and in a very private location. The lodge was spacious yet was cozy for our group of eight. The hiking trail was marked very well and we enjoyed lunch out on the large deck out back while watching the birds at the nearby feeders. Plenty of firewood available for our campfire. Very peaceful and relaxing. We would highly recommend this beautiful Lodge! It’s a gem! Thank you for the wonderful memories we made at the Lodge!! Looking forward to another trip here! "

"I think this hotel is actually 2.5 stars. It seems relatively new and does not show much sign of wear. The breakfast was surprisingly good - some hot items (eggs, sausages, potatoes, waffles) and some cold items and baked goods. Not the best, but better than expected. The room was 2-star, but in good condition and clean. Bed was comfortable. There is an elevator for second floor rooms. I did have to wait for over 5 minutes to have someone show up to check me in at 8:30 pm. That was the only negative, and maybe a one-off. Overall, a surprisingly good value for the money."

"The staff were friendly and always around, so available if you needed them. The facility was clean and well maintained. The room was spacious, secure, and clean. The neighborhood was also nice & quiet. The hotel is also near many stores and restaurants for easy entertainment and close enough to quickly jump on the highway, but not so close you can hear drivers. "
