April 2021 - My significant other and I took a trip to Nashville and stayed here at the Hampton Inn and Suites for three nights. The staff was friendly, the lobby and other areas were clean, so that was a plus. Due to COVID - we did not have any cleaning services throughout our stay such as new sheets, clean towels, room and essentials cleaned up and replaced. I was mainly disappointed in the breakfast and not having any available refreshments I could grab since our vending machines in the hallways were always sold out. The breakfast here was mainly cereal and toast, which the toaster always smelled like it was on fire in the mornings. We have stayed at a Hampton Inn in Atlanta, and they had a much nicer breakfast laid out for the guest - scrambled eggs, bacon, pancakes, french toast, fresh fruit, etc. I expected a better breakfast, but I may have perhaps missed that on the list of amenities. They did serve complimentary coffee. After a night on Broadway, I would like to have the vending machines stocked or at least some complimentary water readily available. Nashville was fun, but I would definitely look at some other hotels before going back to this one.
