  • Welcome to How Sweet the Sound! This beautiful four-bedroom, two-bath home in the heart of Nags Head offers the perfect blend of comfort and coastal charm.

    All living space is on one convenient level, featuring a bright and open living room and kitchen ideal for gathering. The home includes a room with a twin-over-twin bunk bed, two rooms with queen beds, and a spacious king bedroom. There is a full hallway bath, and a Jack-and-Jill shared bath between two bedrooms for added convenience. Step outside to enjoy the furnished deck, perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach. Downstairs, you’ll find a carport and laundry area. Located in the desirable Old Nags Head Cove community, this home is close to local dining, shopping, and the beautiful Outer Banks beaches, your coastal getaway starts here!

    No pets allowed. No smoking/ vaping. Optional access to community pool and boat ramp for small fee.

Nice place and really enjoyed our stay. I know you turn off hvac to save energy but it was 85 inside when we entered. Wasn't cooling down very quick and noticed the return filter was black and thick with dust. To be fair it was corrected asap. Linens and rooms were clean and comfy. Had a great time.

It was the perfect place for the price. It was in a nice quiet community of you plan on grilling out be sure to bring your own grill. They have games outside that our kids of all ages enjoyed.

The house is a nice summer house and a nice area to stay in. Unfortunately, it was not clean properly and it’s very clear that the maintenance of the house is not a top priority.

Cute house that accommodated us all well. Being that we were the first ones in a newly renovated house the smell was very strong when we first got there but it got better after opening windows. The only mirrors in the 4 bedroom house was the 2 small ones in the 2 bathrooms. (we were all females so it would have been nice to have a couple of full length ones on the back of bedroom doors). The weirdest thing was the house sleeps 8 but they only had a small dining table that seated 4. Which also made it hard to use our laptops for work (no where to set up). Only 1 kitchen towel and 1 oven mitt and it was in need of a few necessary kitchen items to prepare and cook with. Not much counter space in the kitchen or the bathrooms. The beds were very nice and a set of towels on each bed that were wrapped very nicely. There was not a single towel rack in the bathrooms to hang clothes or towels up. There was no blinds or curtains on the front windows. The beach wasn't too far but you have to drive over to a designated parking area, too far to walk. A big thing to point out is to be VERY careful of the little sticky things in the grass. They hurt so bad and are hard to remove if you step on them! The neighborhood was very nice and there are sidewalks you can go walking. I guess since it was just renovated they might have not completed some things. I don't want my review to keep anyone from staying here. Overall it was very nice but I felt like I should point a few things out for easy fix.
