"The beach house is cosy and clean.We had a nice stay even tho it rained 4/5 days. Amy was a good host and very responsive."

"Our family held our reunion here in 2013. We loved it so much, we decided to stay again in 2025. The pond, and having the canoe for a trip down the river, were definite highlights. We saw turkeys, geese, a fox, and a doe with her fawn roaming the grounds on the property. It was a delightful stay."

"The view was breathtaking and the beach house was perfect for our family of 5. The house was clean, organized, and well stocked with all the amenities needed. We relaxed and walked up and down the beach collecting rocks and sea glass. We also enjoyed a fish fry at the little bar/restaurant just down the road. We definitely want to come back in the summer! "Had rain but much better than I anticipated. Great cabin and great location. No cell service was my favorite part. Prepare to be impressed if you get to stay here. We will be back for sure."

"Went up for a funeral and it was the perfect place to stay however we had 6 adults ranging in ages from 60’s to 93 and when we arrived we found that the “3rd bedroom “ was in the cold, damp unfinished basement. Had we known this before we probably would have stayed somewhere else. Perfect place but needs to be advertised as 2 bedroom."

"Beautiful home with so much to do for all ages, including extra nice touches such as kcups, firewood, etc. This host has thought of everything and makes it easy to feel at home. We played volleyball and horseshoes, kayaked and made s’mores by the fire. There were plenty of indoor games as well. My family had the best time and I highly recommend DeYoung Family Zoo. Coffee on the deck in the morning facing the water was a nice treat as well!"

"The house was spotless when we arrived. Unlike many VRBO properties the house had all matching quality pots and pans dishes silverware and anything else you need in a kitchen not garage sale miss match whatever. Perfectly white blankets and bedsheets. The beachfront location was perfect with a grassy yard and sandy beach. The only complaint is no grill. Hope to stay there again "
