Very unique resort with great rooms, many with private plunge pools that are maintained perfectly. Short walk to the old town and great restaurants. Resort has a great breakfast buffet and the staff are friendly and very attentive.

I really enjoyed this property and my room. Hotel was walking distance to center town and to a lot of the restaurants (if you decide to walk, be careful as you will have to walk up and down a lot). The included breakfast was great. Wish the food was a little warmer but it was still good. I will definitely stay here again if I come back.

A nice space, but could use some updates.

Staff was very friendly, all spoke perfect English. A nice space, but don’t expect a gay oasis - most of the guests were straight couples. The hotel is a 20 minute walk from Chora — expect any Uber or taxi to be 40€ for a 10 minute ride. That being said the location is favorable. The shower is huge, but open and in the middle of the room. Some areas where the Akkadian could improve: -The breakfast is fairly bare, and did not use any heat to keep things warm. -The gym is OK, but there are no towels or water provided. -Speaking of water: it is not potable from the tap; the hotel would be wise to get a filtered filling station in a few different areas.

High on the hill with a magnificent view! Total white cement Greek hotel which is what we dreamt about ! The pool was in inviting, clean, colorful, beautiful lights, and beautiful setting. I have never laid on better tall Christians in my entire life. It was amazing just with the light wind laying there in the pillow. Everything had dinner in the room on the balcony it was fabulous. It was my birthday. Everything was wonderful trip to the treats on the bed sheets are beautiful and it comes with it. It was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

a stay to remember

The hotel is excellent, we called our room with private pool "our cave" from the first day, the view of the mountain is very nice, and we had a small window above the bed overlooking the town/sea. The room service is excellent, the moment you request anything (towels from reception or an ice bucket from the bar, it will be there in just few minutes. walk to/from town is not more than 10 minutes (good cardio as its downhill/uphill), parking the car was easy as the hotel had a private parking (no charge). Breakfast was good enough but no too rich in variety. the hotel pool is very nice and very relaxing, the private pool is also amazing, just as expected. I would definitely book again. I've came across a problem with the water (shutdown), but it was resolved by the time I came back from town.

If you’re looking for an actual 5 star hotel experience, you won’t find this here. I’ve been to many 3 star hotels in Mykonos before which were by far better in service, quality, and the overall experience than the Akkadian. I’m wondering how this hotel can claim it has 5 stars. The employees need to work on their attitude and appearance towards the guests - barely smiled, barely engaged or even greeted us. The room is really small and a weird layout (the bathroom is open and next to the bed, no mirror), the food selection at the breakfast is minimal and the quality is a 2/5. This hotel deserves maximum 2-3 stars, definitely not 5.

Nice hotel and convenient location

Hotel only opened few days before my stay, many things were still ‘work in progress’ and staff was still new and trying to figure out things (making taxi bookings, how to use card machine, finding iron, options to have breakfast before regular time,…). Taxis are very expensive in Mykonos, this hotel is only 15-20min walk to downtown area, 20-25min to Ornos and 20min to airport (however Mykonos is not very well designed for pedestrians since there are no proper pavements) Hotel room is nicely designed and also common areas with very good Mykonian style. Area of improvement would be the isolation, as you can hear almost everything from the people in the corridors and other rooms. Since Mykonos is a party island, consider proper black out curtains (sunrise is 6am) :-)

Pior noite da minha vida

A pior noite da minha vida. O quarto da primeira noite tem uma janela que dá literalembte para o meio da rua, parecia que minha cama estava literalmente no meio da avenida que passava carros buzinando, motos fazendo barulho. Não consegui dormir 1 minuto nessa noite porque a janela não tem isolamento acústico. Horrível. Nunca tive uma noite tão horrível quanto essa num hotel. Pedi para trocar de quarto na manhã seguinte e fizeram.

Pas au niveau d'un 5* mais agréable séjour

Hotel sympathique, pas mal placé pour allé dans le centre.à pied, mais pas du tout au niveau d'un 5*. Il s'agit d'un 4* correct sans plus. Pas les finitions, les services d'un 5* (portes des toilettes qui ferme pas sans la claquer, piscine privative avec la peinture qui s'écaille et plein de morceau de peinture flottent dans l'eau, débit d'eau de la douche très limité, matelas et draps correct mais sans plus, piscine commune ouverte qu'a partir de 11:00am, musique forte toute la journée et même le soir, petit déjeuner sympa mais sans plus... Nous avons passé un bon séjour, mais déçus des finitions et de la qualité qu'on peut attendre d'un 5*
