All good hotels are good due to the people working at them, the staff at Au Lac Charner make this hotel good, big thanks to all the team especially Daisy and Tommy for helping us with a booking situation and making our 7 night stay wonderful, I had read some previous reviews about noise and sound proofing, honestly we stayed in a Bonard Junior suite on the 6th floor and could not hear any road side or outside noise and the internal noise from other guest was minimal and not invasive as both my wife and myself are fairly light sleepers, we can highly recommend this hotel and the convenience to D1 landmarks is also fantastic "

"Room was spacious. Staff was very helpful. Hotel was in a good location with lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. The downside was that there were lots of shady looking bars nearby, which were not good for families with children. "
