"Domaine de Lanis is lovely - thoughfully renovated to a very high standard (even the teacups are color-coordinated! see photo), big airy rooms with sitting area, quiet, comfortable, nice pool, and garden to explore. Loved my stay here. Had Table D'Hote one night, it was excellent and lovely to talk to the hosts who were very friendly and helpful. Very happy to recommend and would love to return."

"Lovely location and quirky, characterful accommodation! It is within a friendly small village with a really good selection of restaurants. It felt as if we were experiencing the true essence of rural France whilst only a short drive from Carcassone."

Not as advertised

"Tried to feedback to Vrbo privately, but their process forces you to go public. Pleasant hosts and good communication, however: 1. The property doesn’t have air conditioning - problem in 36 degree heat. 2. The pool is in the hosts garden - not private and not manageable with kids who want to be in and out all day. 3. 2 bedrooms - not 3 as advertised. The mezzanine is in the roof, my 11 year old couldn’t stand upright. 4. WiFi cut off because previous guests watching explicits in the property. Gross. 5. Sofa bed falling apart. 6. Accommodation unsuitable for my kids. We left early. Vrbo process means unless you log issues with them within 24 hours of check in they don’t want to know. Terrible system and service. Will not use again. "
