「We were a little disappointed with the actual location verses the advertised, it was advertised as being a 6 minute walk to North Avoca Beach. More like a 6 minute drive to Avoca beach. Apart from that a great little cabin to stay for a couple of nights. 」

「This is a cute cabin in a quiet location for a restful stay yet close enough to local amenities. The owners really make you feel at home and go out of their way to give you hints & tips on how to make the most of your trip including beaches, bush walks & dining spots. Over New years the suggestion for local fireworks spots was great & a highlight for the kids. Overall a clean, cosy, well appointed cabin perfect for young families.」

「Mist in the Gums is the most peaceful place and quite beautiful. Carol is an excellent host and very friendly. The cabin was so clean and had everything you would need. I would thoroughly recommend Mist in the Gums to anyone. please keep in mind it is quite a way from Lake Macquarie.」
