I would like to bring to your attention the horrible experience I endured during my stay at the Royal Park Hotel in Mumbai on Saturday 16th September 2017.
I was a guest at your hotel for 2 nights whilst I was visiting Mumbai, after a recommendation from my father who every year stays at the royal park hotel when he visits India.
The night of 16th September I went to bed after a long days travel from Gujarat to Mumbai. For some reason the electricity was not working which meant the Air condition or the fan was not working, neither were any of the lights. Due to the heat I was unable to sleep all night as I am used to the cold weather coming from the UK. Not only that, My mobile phone was not charged due to the power cut at the hotel. I heavily rely on my mobile phone to get to places using phone Maps and make calls to people to make them aware of where I am and that I am safe. I am a tourist in a city I have never been before. I endured a terrible night and day during my stay at your hotel. The electricity in buildings next to the hotel were working just fine.
I was shocked to know that a back-up electricity supply was not available at the hotel and I feel like I wasted over 4000 rupees staying at your hotel that night.
I raised my concerns with the person on the reception desk called Resham but it seemed like he was not interested in my complaint and told me to email you.
I hope to receive a response from you discussing this matter with me.
