It involved no effort on their behalf e.g. expediting room cleaning, so it is just a shameless money grab. "Shuttle nightmare, my husband taken off at airport. Very old towels and stained. Waiter in bar/rest over the top arrogant and lectureing what language we have to speak. Ignoreing us waiting long time for table, putting people on which came much later, even when the young waiter remindet him. Arrogant and we finally ate at fireplace at mini table, very uncomfortable and unprofessional."

"I reached out to the hotel before my stay because my flights got cancelled due to the situation in the Middle East. I was aware the booking was non-refundable and simply asked whether any goodwill solution might be possible. Unfortunately, I never received any response from the hotel at all. The lack of communication is disappointing. If I had known this beforehand, I would likely have chosen a hotel with reception service, something to consider before booking."
