" 5 Stars – An Absolutely Magical Stay at a Historic Waterfront Mansion! What an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we knew this was going to be something special. This magnificent historic mansion is so much more than a place to stay—it is an experience filled with charm, character, elegance, and timeless beauty.Every corner of this incredible home tells a story. The beautiful architecture, historic details, spacious rooms, and breathtaking waterfront setting made us feel as though we had stepped back in time, but with the comforts of a wonderful getaway. There is something truly magical about enjoying your morning coffee while taking in the peaceful water views, exploring the mansion's unique character, and imagining all the memories that have been made within its walls over the years. What made this stay even more special was the opportunity to gather with family and friends, share laughter, reminisce, and create beautiful new memories together. This mansion provided the perfect backdrop for moments we will treasure forever. If you appreciate history...ask for "Uncle Kevin's guided tour" he was amazing! Some places you visit, some places you remember, and some places become part of your story. This mansion will forever be part of ours.Thank you for such a memorable experience. We would return in a heartbeat! "
Mountain Escape - Trout Lake Waterfront, Adirondack Park Area
10/10 Excellent
"This is truly a hidden gem in Northern New York. The property has something for everyone. It is so comfortable and the full kitchen is awsome. This has been my family's vacation destination for many years now and we can not wait to book our next stay."
Adirondack Cottage - Four Season, Pet-Friendly, Cozy & Beautiful. Read reviews!
10/10 Excellent
"Advertised WIFI but it did not have it. Was not a deal breaker as I was looking to unplug anyway. It is the only reason I gave it a 4 on the "as advertised". The land itself is beautiful, and several trails on the land were amazing. Awesome if you are looking for seclusion. Then there are many DEC trails just up the road from the cottage, and we investigated several of them. Carol was awesome. No incursions while we were there. She tries to give you your privacy and does a great job. We corresponded through emails and text, everything we needed to know was presented. Yes they allow pets and are well suited to accommodate them. The stay with my wife and 2 dogs was amazing. them. Will soon be renting again."
Adirondack/Oswegatchie Riverfront Cabin
10/10 Excellent
"Beautiful property. Being right next to the river was amazing. Hearing the rushing water through the house all night was peaceful and relaxing. We loved how remote the location was, even given the other neighbors. We loved the swing on the river bank! Cabin was clean and inviting. The walk in shower was awesome!"
Harrisville Love Shack
8/10 Good
"The location and setting was great for what we were looking for as a small get away. The cabin was cute and warm for October. It was relaxing to sit by the water and watch the sunset. Everything that was needed was there. The host was great with communication. We loved our stay. Only thing I would say is if your looking for no distractions and quietness ask whether anyone is renting the house next to the cabin. We were celebrating our anniversary & wanted to be alone, there was a large family that showed up the next day with several kids and a drone that kept getting used."
