Go early to avoid lines and dress warm as it is very windy. We bought our tickets there instead of online and it was fine because we went around 9am on a Friday, but it fills up quickly.

Get here early! We did not buy tickets online because we could not find enough for our group at the same time (4 adults). We visited in Feb (off season). We got here on a Friday morning at 9:30. Purchased our tickets quickly and there was no line for tickets or the cable car. When we left at 11:30, it was a madhouse. Buses, cars, and tourists everywhere. I'm glad we went early before the crowds and got to enjoy Teide peacefully.
