「It was a rustic cabin, it had power, microwave, a good size fridge. Easy to get to, could park right out front. Had use of our own port-a-potty. Walking distance to the creek. Kids loved playing it in. Dog friendly. Owner was very friendly. We happen to come during out of normal hot temps… but at night still very comfortable. 「This cabin is absolutely beautiful! It's nestled in a nice woodsy location with privacy, and is perfect for kids to play and dogs to walk. The cabin was very clean and had all the amenities you would need. All the beds were comfy and the rooms were spacious. The owner even provides some little extras to get you started. 「We’ve been coming to Davis for a long time but this was our first time staying in Black Bear. The Bear Lair was perfect for our stay. Clean, well decorated, well equipped kitchen, very comfortable beds, and plenty of firewood. The central location was great as we bounced between Dolly Sods, Timberline, White Grass and downtown Davis. Abby was super responsive and accommodating. We definitely plan to return. 」
