Cairns is a resort area (Great Barrier Reef) and tropical. Our room on the main floor was perhaps a little more utilitarian such as tiled floors but was approppriate for a beach resort area. It contained a comfortable bed and a small outdoor patio off the room. As a cyclone was in the vacinity the weather did not cooperate. As most visitors spent a significant amount of time indoors, the internet was taxed.We were given a discount on breakfast but didn't find it very appealing. I would go back to this quaint hotel as it met my needs.

Staff are great, they went above and beyond. First time staying at an 18+ resort and better than expected. Great to relax by the pool and read in silence. Will look to come back again.

The attached restaurant was convenient for breakfast and dinner and the food was tasty. The small shopping centre nearby had medical, pharmacy, barber and groceries and some eateries. The local boat club is very nice inside and great meals. Our internet worked well and the beach was a short walk from the rear of the apartments .This was our first time holidaying outside of Cairns city and we loved it.
