Great hotel

Host provided a warm welcome. The accommodations were excellent, and the breakfast was fantastic.

Staying at Dyers House is a wonderful experience! Angela and Barry Hawkins are very knowledgeable about the area, as well as being warm, gracious and humorous hosts. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. Views of the city from the house are exceptional, and the gardens that surround the home are lovely. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Classic building - well updated. Clean room, spotless bathroom. Loved the heated floor in the bathroom.

Very helpful staff, clean unit and comfortable bed

This is the place to stay in Christchurch. This is an historic building with a lot of character. The location is right across the street from the botanical garden and a short walk from the Riverside Market. The lobby has a very nice sitting area with tea and coffee available. If you cannot deal with stairs, there are different levels and you may have to see if there are rooms available that have no stairs

This is an elegant, well-maintained property. More a furnished apartment than an hotel. The plant is aging but everything needed is supplied. The Manor is conveniently located.

We loved the Mayfair! Everything was wonderful!

Great location on river path and 3 minutes walk to city center.

Golden hotel is the perfect stay once landing in Christchurch and before leaving again. Very clean and nice space. Staff is also responsive and kind with inquiries. There is a Vietnamese cafe right on the main lobby so very convenient for a quick pick me up. Overall, would stay here again so definitely recommend!

This is a beautiful property located across the street from the Botanical Garden and green space. We stayed in the suite which I would recommend. It is so so nice! The host and hostess were available on the premise for what ever we needed. There are several areas in the villa for relaxation. It is quite for sleeping and safe for walking at night within a few blocks of shopping and eating.

The hotel is conveniently located within the city center and made it easy to walk to shops and many great restaurants. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed at the hotel for a few days at the start of our trip and again on our last few days of our trip. We did purchase the breakfast option and what exactly was included seemed to be staff-dependent. During our first stays, we were not told of any restrictions on the breakfast menu. However, on our...

Highly recommend. Very functional, clean and well taken care of. The front desk help was great! They were always there to provide assistance when needed.

Great stay. Nice hotel staff and clean room with modern design.

We had a charming room with french doors leading to a balcony with a beautiful view. The bathrooms and showers were located across the hall. They were very clean and easy to access. Nice shower. A little kitchen was located on the end of the second floor with light breakfast options. The cafe downstairs was perfect for dinner and a nice cold draft beer. We had a great stay.

The hosts were wonderful and very helpful. It was nice to have kitchen facilities to cook a meal when I did not feel like going out for dinner. Pak'nSave grocery across the street to easily get what I needed. I will definitely stay there again on a return trip.
