「It was unusual not to meet the owners, I could have walked and knocked on the owners door if I needed anything but would have felt like I was intruding. Maybe this is just how things are done these days. Nice place, they included breakfast which was excellent and it was close to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia」

The Inn is beautiful -with an awesome view and easy access to downtown Bar Harbor - and very close to Acadia National Park. Our room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! I highly recommend the Saltair Inn to all travelers.」

「My husband and I had room 15 around back and it was great- we loved the private driveway- definitely one of the nicer rooms. Very clean and my dogs loved the little dog park out front. Great price and so close to downtown. I can’t complain about the “noisy” road knowing it was motel on a main road ! Thanks for a great and easy stay. 」

「From check in to check out being at Cleftstone felt like staying at mom’s house. I loved the afternoon tea and the delicious breakfasts. We also really enjoyed listening the Sara Jones sing at the Sand Bar. The rooms are beautiful and the staff were amazing. Thank you for making our first time at Bar Harbor even better.」
