「This home is in a perfect location and is generally well appointed. The lower level did not appear in any of the photos and felt disconnected from the rest of the home. If I had a family I’d feel uncomfortable having children downstairs.Overall, it was clean but it had an over powering smell of an older gentleman, that did not dissipate by opening up the windows and permeated the linens and bedding. 」

「Pros: great location especially if you are catching a flight from SFO. Bed was very comfortable. Bathroom and kitchen had everything we needed.Cons: the check in process was not good. The instructions were not clear. We had trouble getting in. Thankfully, the property manager was in the unit and let us in. Communication with the host was challenging. We didn't get responses promptly. Make sure to bring ear plugs as it gets noisy at night with the aircrafts coming in and out of SFO.Suggestions:...

16. Beach Cottage Near the Coastal Trail and the Ritz

「This is our fifth Half Moon Bay area rental home and hands down our favorite. Close walk to Poplar Beach, gorgeous yard/lot with plenty of space inside and out. Meticulously clean and well stocked. Relaxed vibe for decor, comfortable furniture and warm lighting. Owners are friendly and quick to communicate and touch base. Will be our go-to rental for our bi-annual trip to HMB, it's a splurge for our budget, but worth it. 」
