"An immaculate hotel with wonderful attentive staff. The rooms are well designed with very comfortable beds. The breakfast is one of the best I have encountered, a massive buffet selection in a beautiful room overlooking the city. I love the roof pool and spa area to relax in. There is also another pool indoors with a sauna and spa facilities. An underground car park topped off my stay. "

"Really interesting Art Deco hotel in great condition. Lovely breakfast. Good bathroom and shower, comfy bed, nice and quiet. Friendly staff. Restaurant service was superb but food was a bit expensive and not to our taste - although that may be us rather than the food itself. There's a great little wine bar opposite that was wonderful for an afternoon of quaffing. I'd definitely return, given the chance."

"Fantastic getaway destination for a weekend stay (and more). Hotel location is great with hikes nearby and the hotel courtyard, pool and other facilities are amazing! We had two small kids and were worried that their play and shouts might not be met with the warmest feedback but the hotel staff was super welcoming. "Pleasant and peaceful hotel within walking distance of the amphitheater and the other attractions. They were very kind to give us a small gift because we were celebrating our anniversary. There was also a complimentary bottle of water. The room was comfortable, and there was a tower fan that was nice as I stayed in the summer. The breakfast seemed to be designed with health consciousness in mind. In particular, there was a good selection of cold cuts and cheese. "

"The lady who checked us in would not let us use the elevator. Another lady came up to us as we started the stairs and said use the elevator. The check in clerk, older white lady, said no elevator. The other lady looked at her with shock when the clerk told her in German we are not to use the elevator. I have a hip,knee and shoulder replacement. This was a struggle and not nice of her. We found and used the elevator from then on The people in the morning on our check out were wonderful "

"very disappointed with this hotel. Supposed to be really nice spa hotel. First visual stepping inside the hallway to the reception was dead flowers in the pots right inside the door. broken fridge in the room with a replacement unit put on the floor so you had no outlets available except if you removed the one for the fridge. no ventilators, old decorations in the room - very 70-ies which can be ok but looked more like a hostel than an upscale hotel room for 195 dollars. The spa was left with...

"Old. No pool. No internet. Locked in with steel gate and two doors at front when tried to leave at 0700. "

"Outdated with no bar,but as it is closed now for a complete renewel, there is no point writing a reveiw about it, as it will be demolished & rebuilt for the opening in june"
