It was a very efficient welcome and a clean room. Everything as expected for a very reasonable price.

Perfect location! Quaint spot just outside of the city centre close to UoB. Sam and reception staff incredibly friendly. We could have chatted for hours if we didn't have an itinerary of things we needed to complete before the end of the day! Would definitely recommend a stay here.

Had a great stay in the heart of Birmingham. Key collection was easy - from a local shop and car parking was secure on site. The apartment was modern and clean and the beds were comfortable. Plenty of places to visit and restaurants all in walking distance.

Our stay had a string of issues. The air conditioning was broken, and with no lift, I had to ask for help carrying my luggage upstairs due to a hidden disability — initially refused until I explained why. The only fix offered was one remaining small desk fan; staff were pleasant, but that leaves other guests with broken AC with nothing. A family member wasn’t told their AC was broken at check-in, then had to change rooms over a broken mattress (no replacement offered, and no help arranging the move). A neighbouring guest moved twice — it felt like management shuffles complaints rather than fixing root problems. The same family member also went without a clean towel repeatedly: housekeeping insisted they’d already left one and refused to even check the room. Ordering food was its own ordeal: the room QR code didn’t work, the till glitched on an unfamiliar new menu, and after 15 minutes and a manager who wouldn’t speak to me directly, I learned room service couldn’t be charged at all due to till issues — so I had to collect the food myself. Worth flagging: I booked via Expedia, but other guests reported being charged multiple times over for their room due to bugs in a new billing system — check your bill carefully. The health club let the hotel down: damaged ceiling tiles, a broken shower hose, and an overall grubby, almost unsanitary feel. Pool temperature was the one bright spot.
