The lady that helped us check in walked me to our room to ensure that I found it alright while my husband parked the car. Everyone was lovely and beyond kind. Very clean room, I didn’t want to leave. "We booked an overnight here while attending a surprise 50th birthday party. We were met by Bruce who showed us to our apartment, we were over the moon with it, it was absolutely 1st class. We finished our night off in The Star Hotel bar downstairs, so was just a short trip upstairs to bed, which i thought would have been noisy tbh, but we never heard a thing. We would definitely recommend staying here, great little place."

"We got a cheap upgrade when we arrived so jumped at the chance. We couldn't have asked for a better room. Such a comfy bed & pillows were amazing. Best sleep we have had for a while. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Wouldn't definitely recommend to anyone to stay at the station hotel! "

"We were made so welcome from our arrival, until we departed. The rooms were lovely and roomy and perfectly clean. There were meal options, you could eat in the dining room or have something simple in the bar area. The city is only ten minutes away and the gardens and surrounding area are perfectly kept and make you feel like you are in the grounds of a stately home. It was perfect for us."
