The apartment is located in a wonderful neighborhood. It’s relatively comfortable with a nice kitchen. Host didn’t reply to questions. 2 hours before check in, they notified us that the home won’t be ready on time and we’d have to check in 3 hours late. They also notified us at that time that we would have to leave a week early because the host double booked the place during our last week. We were already here waiting to get into the room so we couldn’t change our flights and there were no longer affordable places available in Montreal because it was last minute. They didn’t help with this besides refunding the last week, but due to the last minute search, the best we could find was paying 4 times the amount that they refunded for that week. The place was dirty, sheets were not changed, cat hair in the apartment, the balcony was fall of trash. Smelly ashtrays full of cigarette butts. There were also screens missing so you couldn’t open windows despite the heat. It was a costly and stressful decision to rent this place.The apartment is located in a wonderful neighborhood.
