Overall, it was a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable, the front desk staff were very helpful and friendly, provided coffee, tea bags, and hot chocolate. The view from the fourth-floor was nice, and the hotel's location is very convenient, close to the metro.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The room is clean but not spacious. Even though it is called a hotel, it felt more like an upgraded hostel. If you are looking for just a place to crash during a short stay in Montreal, this would be a great option.

I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're in a squeeze for money—it's one of the cheaper hotels in the area, but it comes at a cost. The room is as advertised, but not as clean and new as the pictures. Check-in and check-out was straight forward and they were able to accommodate my late check-in, which I really appreciated. That being said, the overall experience was disappointing. Despite the hotel's condition, the area is not too bad and very accessible. Note: If you're traveling in the summer, be aware that the room is cooled by a very noisy and bulky AC unit.

Its not the fanciest hotel in Montreal. However, it was quiet, safe and close to downtown. The room definitely could use some upgrade. You need to message them a s let them know when youre checking in since there was no customer service around the clock. Id stay here again if i go back to Montreal.

Lovely staff, good service overall. Room was decently spacious given the price. Not exactly a lot of extras given, but for what it costs that's very understandable. Very centrally located, just a block away from Saint Denis and the Berri-UQAM Metro station, so that was also great.

I chose this hotel because it was one of the most affordable options in the area, so I wasn't expecting luxury. However, I did expect basic cleanliness. The positives: the staff allowed us to check in early, which we appreciated. The lobby offers complimentary coffee and tea, and the room included a microwave and a small refrigerator. Unfortunately, our stay was overshadowed by a serious housekeeping issue. It appeared that the bed sheets were not changed before our arrival, we only noticed it on the second night because we came in too late the first night. There were visible hairs on the sheets that did not belong to either of us. We reported it immediately, but the front desk told us that no clean sheets would be available until the following morning because housekeeping had already left. As a result, we had to sleep that night on bedding we believed had been used by previous guests. The sheets were replaced the next morning, but this should never have happened. Housekeeping was also inconsistent in other ways. We arrived to find the toilet paper roll already less than half full, with no spare roll provided. No washcloths were available, and towels and toiletries were provided very sparingly. The building is old, there is no elevator, and carrying luggage to the fourth floor through narrow staircases was difficult.Overall, this hotel may work if your only priority is finding a very inexpensive place to stay. However, clean bedding and basic supplies are not a promise.

This place has the nicest staff, its bare bones but the price reflects that. Clean enough, everything is kinda old and dinky. The entire front area and surrounding st is under construction so it was a bit hard to find. I imagine this wont be a problem in the near future. If you need a place to stay thats clean, quiet and safe for cheap you found it. 👌
