Once getting there we were unfortunately told that our room that we booked was not available due to some restroom issues. We were down graded to a room in the 20’s rather than the room 40 we had booked. The front desk clerk gave us a free breakfast which was not much consolation but he did seem like he was trying to help. We were later also given a small bottle of wine and some bread as well. The hotel is located a short walk from the center of Florence. The room was clean and quiet. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much for them. "Very confusing house rules especially around the pool and who can use it and what times. No soundproofing between rooms. Nights 2 and 3 I could hear exactly what what happening next door. Huge property and very easy to get lost in but ok once you figure out your usual routes. Not a huge fan of self check in and check out, I like the human connection to a property, but I suppose that will suit some people... Room clean, but shows signs of previous water damage in both the bedroom the entrenched...
