7.4/10 Good! (1,009 reviews)
The staff is great and super helpful. For what the place is it’s great. Expect a place to sleep and shower in a prime location in San Francisco, union square. It’s rough around the edges and cheap, that’s exactly what to expect.

The pictures made this hotel appear like an upscale independent hotel - but in reality this was a very middle of the road experience. The bed was comfortable and had convenient usb plugs by the bed. But - the bathroom hadn't been updated at all. The room didn't come with any coffee or a kettle. I asked about this and someone brought up a kettle - but no coffee cup. There are water stations where you can fill up a carafe of water - but unavailable on my floor and an elevator was out of commission so moving floors took forever. Next time, I'll just stay at the marriott across the street for the same price.
