「We booked Dal Canonico through Expedia we were going to a wedding at nearby Tenuta Pinto. The good : the pool, walking distance to Tenuta Pinto (warning - dusty track!), the gardens - fig trees, limes, olives and lots of places to sit, the yummy pastries at breakfast and the super, super helpful Alex -we were sorry we didn't get to say goodbye to him. Good to know: The rooms that have an ensuite (and cost more/ deluxe) are not in the main house but are in a meters-away barrel vault...

「I really wanted to like this property. From the pictures it looked like the perfect little getaway. It was far from that. It was hell for a week. The deluxe suite was nothing further from old, dirty, musty and hot. The AC wasn’t working. The paint in the kitchen was peeling off the walls with mould, the AC was old and not working properly, it just couldn’t cool the rooms. By rooms I mean bedroom entrance and kitchen with two twin bunk beds and was so hot. The bunk beds are definitely not for...
