The room was amazing but access to it a bit tricky up two flights of a circular staircase - I appreciate that David, our host, explained this on the app but the tread of the stairs are short so you just have to be careful. The rooms are not cleaned nor beds made throughout your stay - it’s very much a DIY service with towels and toilet rolls available for you to take from a room below. On the whole, the room was in a fantastic location, close to lots of restaurants and shops.

The perfect location in Bari Vecchia. We stayed on the third floor, with a cute balcony overlooking the beautiful piazza. Walkable to everywhere you’d need locally, with amazing food and drink options right on the doorstep. Don’t be put off by the piazza outside, it’s lively and a great atmosphere, but as soon as you close the balcony door it’s silent! Within an easy walk of Bari Centrale railway station, it was also a great base for short train journeys to Polignano and Monopoli! Great communication from the host, with some excellent recommendations for food, drinks and activities. Quick to respond to any queries via WhatsApp and offered us free safe storage for our luggage after checkout time! We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. There’s only 3 rooms so don’t miss out if you see availability
