"I was a little disappointed when I first saw the place. But what a SURPRISE! Our room was #225, on the second floor with no elevator. It seemed to have unusual accommodations, with some separate baths. But OUR ROOM WAS TERRIFIC!!! Everything was brand new and immaculate! The king bed was firm. The bedding was new and gorgeous, with modern layered sheets and comforter so it’s washed every time. No drab dirty multi used spread. I like a walk in shower without A tub. Check. The shower head was brand new as were all fixtures and fittings. Excellent height toilet. Brand new fridge and microwave. It was so nice we considered staying an extra day. We only stopped to break up our long trek about halfway between Ca and Vegas. If that’s what you need this is the place to do it. It’s Mojave so that’s not anything special. But the staff and room is definitely worth it. We also chose late checkout for an extra $20, also worth it for the extra rest. Well done keeping a 1956 property open.
