We had a good time here. However the service at this hotel leaves much to be desired. We had a great experience with Ali from the Algerian restaurant who was warm and helpful at every turn. He stands out as an example of what service could be like here. In contrast the bar staff was contemptuous towards guests. I overheard them insulting me in Arabic as they assumed I didn’t understand the language. Overall expect a mixed bag with service. Everything else is 4-star like experience.

The hotel is close to many sites of interest, and very close to the metro. A lot of bakeries nearby. Clean room, and usable bed.
The breakfast buffet is subpar and can be improved upon; the bathroom constantly smelled of the sewers and has rusted items. The shower head was loose. These are all areas that can be fixed by the owners if they so choose.

"I sent 2 emails and called the hotel once to arrange a pick up at the airport. I was not picked up and at 1:30 AM got ripped off by the only taxi at the airport. If one is English speaking only, this hotel is not for you. English is poorly spoken and poorly understood. We ate lunch at their restaurant, ..."
