「Right in the centre of the village. Food was great and staff were really friendly and helpful」

「It was an amazing find, travelling South on a long journey from Stornoway to Keswick. I began to feel tired in the afternoon, so I stopped the car went onto Expedia and found this place. The price was very reasonable for August, and the hotel was lovely, a little off the beaten track, but there was a local shop 2 mins away. Staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. I’m going to bookmark this one.」

「Nice to return to an interesting hotel in a lovely spot. Condition of property mixed, maybe deteriorated since we last visited. But so have other aspects. Restaurant disappointing; unnecessarily complex menu, over ambitious & over priced but food disappointing/mediocre. Staff friendly but gave impression of constant sell of add-ons. Breakfast the worst Iv had in 30+ hotels over the last 18 months. Dreary, uninteresting unappetising food with extra charge item available also not an inspiring...

「Everything went very well except that on our second morning the hot items for breakfast still were not out at 6:40 am so we had to leave without it.」

「The owner was very kind and helpful. I stayed on the first floor. He heped me to carry my heavy suitcase up to my room. The breakfast was great! オーナーのコリンさんはとても親切で、留学先の寮に入る前の重たいスーツケースを運ぶのを手伝ってくれました。 グラスゴーからバスで移動し、Academy street前で降りると徒歩5分くらいの場所にあります。駅からも近いです。」
