"The property itself was spotless. I didn't see a speck of dust. It is obviously cleaned pretty much daily. The bathroom was spotless and the shower was good. The only negative was that we hadn’t realised that bathroom would be downstairs, which resulted in the kids being a bit anxious about going on their own, as it’s a shared house and they weren’t comfortable wandering around the house on their own with strangers. Not a problem for the adults, but the kids weren’t comfortable. "

"The staff were brilliant, I had a slight issue with the booking and it was dealt with extremely quickly. The hotel itself shuts for building works within a day or two of our stay so it was slightly dust/messy but that's to be expected. The only complaint out end was the extractor fan in the bathroom remained on the entire time but we shut the door to the bathroom and it was not an issue."

"A fantastic stay! A lovely cottage with everything you need, set in a lovely location. The owners were very helpful and friendly. There is a fully equipped kitchen with nearly everything you need for self-catering, just missing a pizza cutter. A dishwasher and washer/dryer are also provided. The swimming pool is an amazing asset to the property, it is not attached to the cottage so you do need to go outside but only about 20 feet. There is a shower and toilet in the pool house. Overall, this is a lovely cottage for a relaxing time in the Peak District."

"Excellent welcome by Ollie, thank you. Decent breakfast and helpful staff. Bar staff friendly and helpful. Toilets near reception not clean and not helped by hole in ceiling but were being cleaned early next day. Hot water very very slow coming through both in toilets mentioned above and in our own bathroom. Our bathroom door did not close properly-this was a significant issue for us and I mentioned it at reception when leaving. Swimming pool was excellent as were car parking arrangements. Thank you."
