The cleaners forgot to clean my room twice in a row and we were also told we could request every day cleaning but when we asked for this they did not provide this. The restaurant staff were nice and attentive but the front desk were not apologetic when we phoned to say they had forgotten to clean the room. I also did not like there were hidden charges when we arrived. However the actual room is nice and spacious and about a 10/15 minute from the French quarter. It was my mums 70th but it did not end up being particularly special. We had to keep on requesting refills of shower gel and towels and toilet roll which you would not expect for the supposed quality of the hotel. The floor was also dirty. We also told them about us leaving at 5am and was told there would be people to help but there was not anyone around and we could not do express check out as it want working so we were walking around trying to find someone and had to do our own luggage.

Great manager. Please note there is a $250 charge on you CC for a hold you get back. Had one rude front desk person the first night when tv wasn't working right. Next morning the manager sent someone up and they fixed it right away. 3 blocks from St Charles Streetcar line. Get a pass, excellent way to get around. Approx 1 mile from Bourbon Street but much quieter at night. Property had a decent free breakfast, pool, weight room. We'd stay here again

great location for the French Quarter Festival. Side entry and check in on the 11th floor is a tad quirky. The bar is gorgeous, great views of the river and the French Quarter! rooms are fine, large with COMFY beds. bathrooms old, but attempts at updates w/sinks and rain shower. I do appreciate the environmental interest, with toiletries. The bellman are all terrific. the hostess at the breakfast spot on the 11th seems uninformed - this stay was perfect for what we wanted to do. I felt very safe!!!
