The unit itself is extremely loud, since it is located on a busy intersection and the windows do not close because portable AC units were hooked up in a way that does not allow for them to close. That is leading to extreme traffic noise, loud music, police sirens, etc. The walls of the unit are very thin as well adding even more noise from neighboring units.
