Perfect vacation condo

Family Vacation

Great View!!! Condo was just like the pictures and fully stocked. Just a short 2 min walk across the street to the beach and several restaurants walking distance to the condo. Check in and out process simple.

Fall Break

We had a great time! Love the Majestic Sun. Our condo was great, clean had beach chairs and toys. Love how close it is to the beach and that the indoor pool is heated!

Beautiful Condo

Our family of 5 enjoyed this space so much! The view was beautiful! The condo was clean. We also enjoyed that there was umbrellas and chairs for the beach!

not as expected

no closet space , few drawers. the location was great condo was clean . washer did not work properly. maintenance request sent . still waiting on part for washer at check out. if your looking for great location this place is great . but no closet space made it very messy

Majestic Sun

Our room was very nice, completely updated with a beautiful view of the Gulf. The washer and dryer in the unit definitely needs an upgrade, very musty smelling and old. The pool definitely needs to be cleaned, always had dirt and debris floating and the tiles were grimy and needed a good scrubbing. The outside pool was also very chilly, too cold for young children.

Love Majestic Sun

We are just departing after a week long stay. We have visited Destin multiple times and stayed at Majestic Sun every time, each time in a different condo. The location is perfect, accessibility to the beach is perfect, the pool area is wonderful and the beach is gorgeous and well maintained. We really liked 304B and would definitely stay again. Clean, nicely decorated, had everything we needed. This was the lowest floor we stayed on and with the master bedroom on the front there was some noise from the road when trying to go to bed. The only other issue was the upper bunk bed mattress was not comfortable at all. Other than those minor issues, our stay was wonderful and we will definitely be back. A few restaurant recommendations-Buffalo Jacks has the best wings in the world, Whales Tail is a must have and Another Broken Egg Cafe was awesome for breakfast/brunch.

Well maintained and updated unit

Very well maintained, stocked and updated and made for an easy stay. Great location with easy access to beach, restaurants, golf, pool and tennis. This is a third floor unit so you do hear more of the road noise during peak weeks.

Nicest time away home

It was a nice and peaceful vacation, the apartment location is great, it was all renovated and looks cozy and beautiful. The property is very organized and amenities are great. Even though the street in front of the building the noise front it didn’t bother us at all and the view of the ocean was awesome. We plan to come back next year.

Amazing condo!!

We have stayed at the Majestic before and we love it here!! This condo is beautiful and has all the bells and whistles!! FiveStar beach properties who manage this was amazing and easy to contact to book activities!! We will be down there again next month and can’t wait!!

Perfect week

My husband and I decided to get away for a week and thankfully this condo was available. The people at Destin Palms were easy to work with - especially Christina. The views were amazing, and the condo was so nice. It was a perfect week. Thank you!

Okay Beach Getaway fromn

Overall, we were relatively pleased with our stay at the Majestic Sun 304B condo, but we will likely not stay there again. Below is a summary of the pros and cons we experienced as a young couple with a nearly 2 year old. PROS: - The view was great; the unit faces the beach. - There is a very short walk to the heated indoor pool. - There is a very short walk to the beach across the street. - Is in a quiet area (at least when we traveled in late Sept/early October.) - The condo and the overall property/grounds were clean. - Is within walking distance of a couple of beachfront bar/restaurants (the rest we had to drive to) - Has updated decor, furniture and finishes. - Maintenance was relatively quick to respond to us. CONS: - The food in the area was overpriced and only just okay. - There is no ramp down to the beach so we literally had to lift our toddler in his heavy beach wagon down/up at least a dozen steps every time we wanted to go to or from the beach. - There were a few maintenance issues we noticed right away (broken door handle on balcony door, master toilet wasn’t flushing properly, sliding door off hinge in laundry area, and the towel hanger in the bathroom was loose/fell off wall.) The maintenance team was quick to answer our call and had someone out about 24 hours later, but it’s a bit disappointing that so many things were missed by house keeping / management company before we got there.) - There are a lot of fees and threats of charges for things like garbage not taken out, damage, lost wristbands, etc. Of course, we will (and I believe most people would) do our best to keep things perfect. Just feels like there are several rules to abide by (or else) which made the experience a little less relaxing. - The toilet paper holder in both bathrooms are rusty, as is the shower head arm in the master bathroom. For what we pay a night, this should not be
