"As a first time visitor to Colorado, this was amazing! The Keystone Lodge staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location was great and they offered a free car shuttle to the ski village and surrounding areas. There was also a bus that ran on a route that was helpful to get around. There were plenty of shopping and dining options. "

"Staff greets you upon arrival, introducing you to front desk staff and ask if we need anything. Room absolutely gorgeous and the bed very comfortable. Bartender Sunday night went above and beyond. Serving us wine after he closed up and turned on the fireplace Thank you for a great stay "

"Elizabeth and Kyle were helpful during check in. I was in an interesting, shared entrance room so I could hear my neighbors a bit more than expected when they came in and out. Bed was very cozy as were my pillows!!! Room was small but great. Loved a full size coffee pot in the morning."

"This was my 4th visit to The Block. I love this place, with one exception, during my last 2 visits I have encounter front desk staff that seem unengaged with guests. When I interacted with the front desk I encountered blank stares and curt responses to any inquires vs. the enthusiastic, engaged staff that was previously common. "

"Overall we enjoyed the property. Pros, cleanliness of the rooms and lobby, the property itself and location next to the river. However, management should be aware of inconsistencies with front desk staff. Some were excellent, some were mediocre, and sometimes not available, where incoming guests couldn't check in....and calling the available number which rings at the front desk doesn't help. Suggestions would be to improve the breakfast options; make ice available to guests without having to ask for it, clean the hot tub, and provide a easily accessible microwave. Also, would suggest management limit use of the lounge to guests, not friends/family of the hostess (in the evening)."
