This very spacious main level unit will exceed expectations in detail of comfort and style. Recently renovated and furnished it boasts a charming 1300 sqft.- there is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy your family and friends. The Living Room is in the front and has a large desk in front of the south facing windows - perfect for watching life stroll by as you work. Beyond the living room is the dining area which can accommodate 8. This unit has a full sized kitchen, complete with center island and plenty of counter space to set out a festive buffet! in the very back off of the kitchen is a spacious bedroom with Queen bed. There is a walk-in closet and plenty of room to store luggage. The bathroom is located off of the kitchen area; just a few steps from the bedroom. It has a walk -in shower and is comfortably sized to meet your needs. When the weather cooperates be sure to utilize the charming large front porch; there is a place to sit and visit and a bistro table and chairs to enjoy an informal meal El Fresco! On the colder days click on the electric fireplace in living room to cozy up the space. You will quickly make this place your home away from home while taking in all the unique shops, restaurants, and homes this wonderful historic area offers.

Great spot! Clean and spacious for the two of us and our 4 legged friends.Walking around in our favorite neighborhood was also such a treat!Stacey was excellent with communication and directions on her VRBO. Hope to stay again soon!

Property very much as advertised, very comfortable, well maintained, communication great, and location was perfect. Wife and I used to a larger (king) bed. Other than that, wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We were so comfortable at the yellow house! We loved the sitting area with fireplace and book nook. The kitchen was a generous size with everything we needed for our 4 day stay. We also appreciated the quiet location good for walking.

Wish we could stay for much longer!

Stacey is a wonderful host and there are so many thoughtful touches throughout the home to ensure comfort. We were in St Paul for a 50th college reunion at Macalester and to visit family a few blocks away. We loved the location and ease of parking plus meeting neighbors and shopkeepers in the area.

Location, location, location!

We stayed at both this and one of the upstairs apartments for 3 nights. I posted the same review for the other apartment, as the information is the same! This is a wonderful little retreat in an awesome neighborhood in St. Paul!. The setup was great and the apartments have been beautifully redone. We didn't want for much at all, and if we did, the shops are literally two blocks away. We got take-out twice and didn't do any cooking, though the covered grill in back may have been available to use. Highly recommend Punch Pizza...wouldn't go back to Brasa. The kitchen had a few condiments in the fridge, coffee (THANK YOU!), and ice already in the freezer. We didn't look for cooking utensils and things like that so I can't comment much. We purchased toilet paper as there wasn't a full roll when we arrived and couldn't find more. No biggie. The notes in previous reviews about air conditioning are correct - we were quite warm during our stay. To be fair, we didn't bring this up to Stacey, who checked in with us a couple of times via text (super friendly!!), because it really isn't something that can be fixed without having put in central air during the remodel. We knew ahead that there was only window air in the bedroom, so we each brought a fan and that helped a bit. We have 4 small dogs between us, and the apartments were great for them. Lots of places to walk them in the neighborhood. Note there were a lot of dogs being walked off-leash, so if that's a worry, just be careful. Wasn't for us. The only disappointment was finding out there was a 3rd apartment in the house with a tenant living there - we chose this place believing we had the whole home to ourselves, so barking dogs wouldn't be an issue, but instead worried about the disruption constantly. Not a big deal, but something to be noted if you're looking for a place where no one else is living. Had we known before we arrived, we'd have kept looking. The one evening we needed to be gone and I knew they were barking, I texted Stacey and she assured me the tenant was working, so no problem. We were able to sit on the porch with the pups...such an awesome area. People everywhere and everyone friendly. It's on a one-way street so not a ton of traffic - lots of bikes and walkers for sure. Overall, a wonderful stay. Stacey had great communication and the apartments were just what we needed! Clean, well appointed, perfect location!

Perfection!

We stayed in this beautiful home for 10 days. In a word - Perfection! A lovely, comfortable house located in a charming neighborhood where the sidewalks were bustling with parents with strollers, bicycle riders, dog walkers, joggers; convenient to shops, ice cream parlors, restaurants. Central location makes it easy to navigate the "Twin Cities"

Grand Hill

Wonderful Stay

Charming place to stay in a beautiful historic neighborhood. Walked to dinner each night. Enjoyed our stay. There is a little step down into the living area that I didn’t see at first. I was too busy oohing and aahing at the cozy living area. Other than that it was perfect for me and the hubby.

Beautiful apartment in a great neighborhood

This apartment is in a really nice neighborhood close to both shops and restaurants. The apartment is well stocked and the host left a basket of snacks which we appreciated. My spouse was able to work from the apartment and the Wi-Fi was strong. The host contacted us to check in to see if we needed anything. I would stay here again and I would recommended this VRBO to friends.We would definitely stay here again.

St Paul Historic Neighborhood

Great house in a really superb location. Walking down Summit Ave to the River Rd or over to Cathedral Hill with many bars and restaurants. Or walk up Grand Ave the other way with shops, bars and restaurants. Easy in and out. Well stocked and great host. Would stay again!

Great Spot

My wife and I stayed here and enjoyed our time in St.Paul! Walking distance to pretty much anything and the historic area was cool to walk through. Hopefully will be back someday to explore more.
