Lakefront home with granite counters, fireplace, lake views, & dock

  • This charming one-level house, located on the public side of Lake Anna, is on a deep-water cove with views that go on for miles! Enjoy the updated kitchen with all new appliances for 2021, with the many extras, including granite countertops, tiled backsplash, a gas fireplace, and a screened porch. You'll have a natural wooded lot and a lakefront location - deep water (20 feet) at the dock. Light up a fire in the fire pit and enjoy the stars. There's an impressive boathouse swim ladder, upper sun deck, new gazebo, storage, reclining lounge chairs, and a mini-fridge. Spend your evenings having dinner on the back porch with a sunning area and an outdoor shower, kayaks, paddle board, water toys, and life jackets are supplied for your water adventures.

    Additional amenities include free WiFi, Netflix streaming, a Sonos sound system, a foosball table, a card/game table, age-appropriate games for younger guests, an outdoor shower, a hammock, and a child safety gate on the outdoor porch.

    All drivers of a motorized watercraft must have a Virginia Boater Safety License.
    Please be aware that although this rental does not allow animals, the owners do bring theirs into the home. Any guests with severe allergies may want to choose a different home.

Great stay!

Plenty of space for our group of 10! We enjoyed the outdoor space and the boats, although I would recommend swimsuits or a change of clothes for the kiddie boats. The kitchen was well stocked and any questions we had were answered promptly. Would definitely stay again!

The most perfect house for our weekend retreat!

The location is great; the layout is perfect for a large group. With the sun-filled living area and the bedrooms on either side the layout worked very well for our group. We cooked all of our meals in the fantastic kitchen. Great upscale appliances. The view is gorgeous and the outside areas seem very wonderful although we did not use them very much. We would definitely come back!

Nice house, beautiful outdoors

We enjoyed our stay at Dragonfly Cove - the dock area and fire pit is very nice (seems new-ish) and well maintained. We appreciated the game room, which had a very nice foosball table and gaming table, perfect for puzzles or card games. The kitchen was well outfitted. It would be nice to offer a canoe or 2-person kayak instead of just paddleboards, so that non-summer-season visitors have a better way to get out on the water.

Isolated Gem

The house is laid out beautifully and very nicely decorated. The living area is great ... has a view, is comfortable and separates the master bedroom from the other bedrooms. We experienced a visit from deer and even a fox. Although we did not fix any meals, we sure enjoyed the kitchen, especially the huge island. Having music available (no interruptions) was also a treat. Our group of four had a wonderful time at Dragonfly Cove.

Great Secluded Getaway

The size of the house was more than enough for me, my wife and 2 kids. Great layout with lots of great views of the lake. Dock and outdoor fire pit area was amazing. We enjoyed canoeing and swimming and even did some bike riding too.

Beautiful house, Great Location...Internet, so-so

A perfect summer getaway. The house is just amazing and the little cove is quiet and lovely. We really enjoyed everything there except the intermittent Internet (two of us has some work meetings), but for a vacation it is just perfect.

The house is in a cove, so you can float and enjoy the lake without fear of boaters. Family friendly house, there are gates on stairs on balconies to keep little ones safe.

Wonderful getaway

This was a great home to escape to for a short weekend away! It was clean, updated, and spacious. The kitchen is beautiful with a massive island for cooking. The beds were comfortable and the view is beautiful. We enjoyed the fireplace and fire pit during our chilly stay and would love to return in the warm weather for a longer stay!
