「Located in a lovely setting but starting to look a bit tired throughout. We booked an upgraded room so two nights cost £355.00 Bed and breakfast which I don’t feel was good value. We have stayed in a much nicer hotel with that amount of budget. The room was OK but things like a shower over the bath with a rather tired curtain were not what we had expected. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately I felt the experience didn’t live up to our expectations...

「Excellent personal service. I felt very comfortable sitting in the bar having a meal and a drink as a single woman. Food was excellent - freshly cooked and hot. Breakfast was fab. 」

「The place was clean, staff Friendly & food lovely. But the building looking tired & is in need of maintenance. The main problem was the noise. We were in the captain's suite. Which seems to have the owners family accommodation next to & above the room. I was hoping for a quiet few days away but instead had to listen to there dog whining at a joining door to our room & loads of banging around upstairs. You can also hear the people in the next room clearly. We were also very disappointed to be let...

「We had a lovely time in this cottage. The house was very well equipped, veel clean and Verity, the host, thought of everything. Minehead is an interesting and beautiful village and we made some nice walk. We will return.」

「Farm is quite remote but beautifully situated 1200 feet above the Bristol Channel. Very roomy and charming. Very comfortable facilities and lovely, helpful hosts. Fresh eggs for breakfast from the friendly chickens! A bench overlooking the sea for our happy hour, wonderful walks to interesting and ancient places. Lots of wildlife - deer, pheasant, grouse, wild ponies up on the nearby moor. We'd love to return.」
