「waterheadという場所にあり、amblesideの中心からは離れているが、歩いて15分だしまあまあなロケーション。 スタッフの感じは明るくアジア人に対しても差別は感じなかった。 朝ごはんのレベルは高く盛り付けは品がいい。 部屋はシングルだったが、ベッドはダブルサイズで清潔であり快適。アップグレードされたのかもしれないが。ただし部屋はロッジ風で宿泊客の通り道だったためカーテンをしておかないと外から中が見えます。湖水地方にしてはリーズナブルなお値段だったので、こんなものかも。セントラルヒーティング《ラジエーターと言いますが》完備。」

「The only criticism i have is too late for booking in and on a personal note i think 08:30 is a little late for breakfast. Beside that i found the place fantastic. Great accommodation and friendly staff and ideally situated for exploring the lake district.」

「Heather the manager was very friendly and welcoming. We got our drinks at the bar and confirmed our stay and we had a lovely evening meal. The room was spacious and comfortable with a shower and bath.It was very quiet.Breakfast in the morning was great and heather made us feel so at home. Definitely would recommend a stay.」

「We had another lovely stay at The Eagle & Child. It offers great value for money. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the bed was extremely comfortable. The en-suite shower room was a good size and the shower was powerful and hot. Tea and coffee making facilities in room with complimentary bottles of water were appreciated as were the chocolate biscuits. Breakfast was included with a great selection of fruit and cereals and a good selection of cooked options. We opted for a full Cumbrian...

「Loved out stay at this hotel and restaurant on our final day in the Lakes. We stayed in Scafell Pike with the only negative being the room was very hot (we stayed in late Aug). We would definitely stay there again. 」
