Communication was friendly & useful for how to get there & local dining options (which was also brilliant, friendly and delicious.) They had kindly started the fireplace before we arrived. Rooms are remote each other so we could stay kept calm.
Just behind the room there runs the trail that guests can enjoy walking on. Very convenient.
Restaurant was not so large but lovely.
We had pastas which was so good.
Staffs were friendly and kind.
We would visit this hotel again when visiting St Clair National Park next time.」
「We read the reviews and were intrigued. We stayed in winter, and it is cold in Bothwell. It would have been much more inviting if the hosts had the heater running prior to our arrival, but once the property warmed up after a few minutes the shock of how cold it was faded away. We stayed in the 1837 cottage. The accommodation is rustic, eclectically furnished and decorated, and gives an appreciation of life in times gone by.
