Divine LOCATION!! A great share property for friends or family! Lovely, sunlit, charming gathering spot!! Late JULY is open! The yard is private, peaceful and fenced!! So perfect for kids or pets! Quiet tucked away neighborhood where kids can ride bikes and pets can be walked to beach! This cottage is quintessential Newport with charm galore and a perfectly maintained. This delightful 1910 standalone cottage is a quick walk to Easton's Beach and the world-famous Cliff Walk! Location! Location! Grab an early morning coffee and enjoy the majestic views from the Cliff Walk or the Esplanade before heading to the beach! Quick walk to second beach too and very close to all downtown Newport has to offer! Shopping, dining and the active bar scene and world famous dining! Lovely area! "At Last" has the charm of old New England with modern amenities and new furnishings! This house is delightful and charming with a private yard for grilling, entertaining, pets and kids. The yard is fenced in and has a sweet garden/privacy hedge surrounding it, making it perfect for those lazy summer days and nights. (there is also an outdoor shower, but not enclosed) Private and quiet location! Sip cocktails on the back deck which has seating for 8, while watching the kids play in the sweet, garden accented backyard. You will find both the king and queen bedrooms are on the second floor, with the bathroom located on the first. (please make note that the stairs are the steep ship stairs- aware with young children and older adults). The king-sized bedroom is large and sunlit and there is enough room to set up and air mattress if needed for kids or guests. You will find a smart TV also located in the king-sized bedroom. The queen size bedroom is charming and delightful with under the bed drawers and a large mirror. Both bedrooms have new mattresses (which we have received many compliments on) and furnishings. In the hallway between the two bedrooms there is a vanity makeup area and some extra space. You will find the cottage fully stocked with beach chairs, towels, gas grill, wine glasses, and two TV's with Fire stick remotes. (One TV in the large bedroom and the second is located in the living room). The sofa is a queen pull-out (please bring sheets if you plan to use) for an overnight guest or 2. We are dog friendly with a small fee.. Laundry and AC window units! Unbeatable location! Divine cottage! Parking for 3 cars, or more depending on their size. Come spend a week at "At Last"! Very close to the activities in downtown Newport too. Will consider monthly rentals during winter season, just ask for pricing! We have had many parents of St. George's and Salve book for sports season to come and enjoy their kids competing! Ask for winter pricing! Truly a lovely and quiet place that will not disappoint! PETS OK, laundry and private yard with lovely garden. Many repeat guests who rave about this place!! Come enjoy! Come watch your St George's kids in the sports season's as this place is a stone's throw away!!

Peace and quiet

Lisa was very responsive. House was great for two adult friends as we each had our own room with a big bed. Lovely garden area and nice deck for eating outside. Beautiful decor that felt coastal without being cliche. Was too far to walk to First Beach with our gear, but could be nice in cooler months. Really quiet neighborhood.

Wonderful location, fantastic yard/outdoor space

This home exceeded expectations. The yard was so perfectly private (and fenced even for our tiny Yorkie) in a quaint and quiet neighborhood. Proximity to Newport and Middletown beaches was just right. Wi-Fi and amenities were perfect. Fantastic time and can’t wait to go back!!

Family get together

We booked Draper Ave. for the family while celebrating my daughter’s graduation from Salve Regina University…. We even brought the dogs. The property was as described in the listing. Lisa was quick to respond to any questions that came up and Charlie quickly replaced a broken patio umbrella so that we could enjoy family bbq’s on the deck. We read the reviews and agree those stairs are steep! We have little dogs so took extra precautions and packed a few doggie gates to use on the deck bc they could have easily gotten out. A little disappointed that there wasn’t any outdoor lighting in the back but overall we loved our stay and will book again when visiting my daughter in the future.

Love Newport/Middletown

Great location. Two suggestions 1) Mattress in sofa bed should be replaced. It is very uncomfortable. 2) Stairs are dangerously steep and need needs either a center railing or a rope center guide down the middle (which could give the steps a quaint, nautical look.) All in all, it was comfortable and we enjoyed our stay.

Cute place, in great location

Wonderful stay, the beds were comfortable, kitchen was well equipped, living room and deck area had comfy furniture. Very clean. Lots of hot water, and clean towels. Location is in walking distance of restaurants. Nice quiet neighborhood. I could live here :)

Adorable Hime

This home was very cute with a wonderful little backyard, which is perfect if you bring a dog. The one bathroom downstairs was a bit of a challenge for us, as was the steep staircase, but we managed it fine. The pullout couch was very uncomfortable and not really practical to use. Suggest bringing a mattress topper if you intend to use it. Overall our stay was very nice. I would recommend it for no more than 4 people.

Charming!

We had a wonderful stay. Cottage was very charming and comfortable. We loved the deck and private yard. It was so quaint with all the flowers. Our pup was also very happy here. The location is wonderful. Short drive to Second Beach, which we really appreciated and also nice evening walk to Clementine’s ice-cream.. multiple times. Thank you for the stay!

Great hosts, wonderful location

I have nothing but good things to say about the managers of this property. They were so communicative and responsive to our requests. The house is very charming and well located. We stayed with our 6 year old daughter and she really enjoyed the beautiful garden. Close to beaches and attractions in Newport, very well located.

Easy place

This smaller house worked very well for me and an adult daughter. The street and neighborhood are quiet and the deck is very private due to plantings. Plenty of offstreet parking. The location is an easy ten minutes from downtown Newport or the mansions. And also about ten minutes to beaches. The stairs are steep, something for anyone with mobility issues to consider but I’m 71 and did fine. I’m summary, it’s a good no frills home base for people who want to explore the Newport area

Fall Weekend getaway

Lovely cottage in location convenient to all. Off season stay allowed our dog to enjoy the beaches& fenced in yard a big plus.. Might want to have more local information available to help orient first time visitors (like us). The stairs to second floor quite steep, but doable.

Adorable Clean 2/1 property

Property was EXACTLY as described (even the steepness of the steps - no joke!), clean, well equipped, fast responses to any questions asked, easy to Uber to/from Newport. Would suggest one or two more blankets for "just in case a cold wind blows through" times otherwise a great staying experience I would repeat.

Nice clean property, beautiful yard

We had a wonderful time, if you have dogs I would bring a long lead for the yard. Our 2 pups got out, one twice, and I was outside with them always. Once the gate was open and another time through somehow by the steps for the coral door. I found him leisurely walking down Draper. We set up the leashes after that and it was wonderful.
