"I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience at this hotel, primarily due to their unprofessional billing practices and poor room conditions.
During check-out, the receptionist charged my credit card before even showing me the invoice. When I finally asked to see the details, I discovered a massive overcharge for breakfast. We were a group of 3 and only had breakfast on one day, but the hotel charged us for 6 people for every single day of our stay!
I immediately complained, and a manager stepped in to process a refund. However, they once again processed the transaction without confirming the exact refund amount with me first. When I checked their calculations regarding the city tax and the actual breakfast cost, I found another discrepancy. It turned out the manager made a calculation error and refunded me too much. Unbelievably, instead of sincerely apologizing for their repeated mistakes, they demanded that I pay back the difference (around €39). Processing payments and refunds without the guest's consent, making multiple calculation errors, and then demanding more money is completely unacceptable customer service.
Furthermore, our room conditions and housekeeping were terrible. We stayed in a connecting room, and the shower room was missing its glass door, which had been cheaply replaced with a shower curtain. Additionally, despite our requests, we did not receive daily housekeeping. Even when we followed the rule of leaving used towels on the floor to "
