This hotel fulfilled my lodging needs to a T! I wanted two large, comfortable beds—and I got it. I wanted a separate dining area for quick meals and snacks—and I got it. I wanted air conditioning that worked reliably—and I got it. I wanted a clean, modern hotel with a restaurant, pool, and fitness machines, that was convenient to the Paseo de Montejo, …with charming peacocks—and I got it!

Rooms were great, breakfast was fabulous.. However, water for shower was not hot.. Lukewarm at best, lounge chairs around the pool were broken, we were given two bottles of water in the room... Then you had to buy water.. Only one bag of coffee /room/day. Staff were great..

Muy buen hotel. Buena ubicación, estacionamiento conveniente y jardines bonitos y bien cuidados. El único tema es que todos los días había que pasar a la recepción porque no había suficientes artículos de baño. O faltaban toallas o faltaba papel de baño o faltaban jabones. Siempre había que pasar a la recepción a pedir cosas. Fuera de ahí todo bien

Staff, front desk and housekeeping alike, were very helpful and attentive to our needs and requests. There is a wonderful, varied breakfast buffet that satisfies, giving first time visitors to the region and preview of local flavors. Our room was spacious, clean, and inviting, outfitted with much needed a/c. Being a short walk to restaurants and shops, Palacio Maya is perfectly situated to enjoy the heartbeat of Mérida.
